Wedding Cocktail Hour and Reception

Wedding bliss starts with that very special day and Ashyana Catering provides the menu options you and your guests will forever remember. Our delicious wedding menus and professional catering service are both elegant and affordable. We have experienced staff available to help you plan catering for your wedding reception.

Post Ceremony Luncheon

Start off the big day with savory breakfast, chai, and coffee. Server refeshments and desserts during the ceremony followed by post ceremony lunch.

Services

Audio Video/ Projector/ Sound (2)

Additional Rental Equipment:
Projector + Screen + setup + tear down = $295.
Screen only: $95.

    • You are free to use our overhead PA system at no charge.
    • You will need a laptop, a mobile device with a headphone jack to connect to our overhead system.
    • Microphone and Podium can be made available at no charge.
    • The sound quality of pre installed system is good and sufficient to deliver speeches and back ground music.   It may not be enough for high base dances, and loud performances. For such events, you may consider hiring a professional DJ.
    • Additional Rental Equipment:

      Projector + Screen + setup + tear down = $295.
      Screen only: $95.

    • You are welcome to bring in your own projector. Please also bring the screen, extension cords, and all necessary cords and accessories.   Ashyana staff will not be able to work on your system.
    • In any case you must bring your own laptop or input device.
Bridal Suite (1)
  • Access to bridal suite :  Morning events:  9:00 AM , and for Evening events: 3:00 PM  ( Please ask us if you need to get in early, we will try our best)
  • One bridal suite is available for each event.    If you have more suites available you are welcome to use them.
  • Suite must be left in good condition.
  • Food and beverages are not allowed in the suites.
  • Key / Access code is written on your contract.  Please share it  with parties who need it.  Ashyana staff will not be able to grant access to anyone unless host is present.
  • Please remove all your belongings from the suites as the conclusion of the event.  Ashyana will not be held liable for anything lost or damaged.

Cake (1)
  • Cake table will be provided with any event bookings. It will be covered with Ivory linen.
  • Cake knife can be made available upon request
  • Cake can be delivered by 11 am for dinner events.
  • Cake will be cut, plated, and served by Ashyana chef after cake cutting at no extra charge.
  • While we will take utmost care in taking care of the cake, Ashyana will not be held liable for any damage to the cake.

Any type of tape (Scotch, Duct Tape, Masking Tape, etc.), nails, push-pins, sticky residue or damaging materials on the walls is strictly not permissible. Violation of these terms will result in a $250.00 clean up fee, and client will be held responsible for damages.

We do not allow confetti, bird seed, sparklers, fog machines, smoke machines.

Use of confetti will incur a clean up fee of $250.00

Use of sparklers, fog machines smoke machines, or any other kind of pyrotechnics will result in termination of the event immediately.  You will also be held liable for all full grand totals of all other events cancelled due to fire alarm set off.

Our’s is a state of art  smoke and fire detection system.   We have installed these for safety of all our guests, including yourself.

Food Tasting Guidelines (1)

Food Tasting Guidelines:

  • A deposit confirming the event is required prior to food tasting.
  • Food tasting is subject to the following:
  1. Each party of 150+ guests is allowed 1 complimentary food tasting.
  2. Items to be tasted are allotted up to the number of items in the package selected.
  3. Each additional item to be tasted outside of the package will be charged at a-la-carte restaurant prices.
  4. Parties of 151-300 guests allotted up to 4 guests for food tasting.
  5. Parties of 301+ guests allotted up to 6 guests for food tasting.
  6. Each additional guest will be charged a flat rate of $25.00.
  7. Food tasting must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance, and cannot be on holidays and weekends.
  8. Most Importantly,  please bear in mind that food tasting is a privilege, and not a right.   It is extended to our guests as a courtesy.

  • Elevator can be used to get to the first floor to bridal suites.

Payment Terms (1)

Payment Terms:

  1. A Non –Refundable and Non Transferable deposit  is required to confirm your event.
  2. An additional deposit of 50% is due 6 months prior to the day of your event.
  3. Final payment and guest count is due one week prior to the event by a certified check or money order.
  4. 3% transaction fee will be added to all credit card transactions.
  5. All deposits / payments are NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Set Up and Layout (2)

Generally, there will be 10 chairs per round guest table.  That means 10 guest will be seated per table.

Ashyana reserves the right to change this policy for logistical and esthetic purposes.

Tables will be provided to you at no additional charge.

  • Cake:  3.5′ Round  table
  • DJ Table:  6′ Rectangular
  • Place Card: 6′ Rectangular
  • Party Favors: 6′ Rectangular
  • Return Gifts: 6′ Rectangular
  • Head Table:  Custom.

If you need more tables than these, just ask.  Its all included for you.

All tables are properly skirted, and/or covered with linen.

Time (5)

The time that your event room will be ready is the event start time on your contract.   As we try to set up for your event as early as possible, in all likelyhood the room will be ready before the event start time.    If yourself or family members arrive early, please bear in mind that we may still be working and are in the process of setting up your room.

Example:    Event start time:  10:30 am,  room will be fully ready by 10:30 am .

Unless pre approved, lunch events must end by 3:00 pm.  Dinner events must end by 12:00

Extra time can be purchased for $400/ hour for lunch events, and $600/ hour for dinner events.     Time is charged in 15 minute increments.

Additionally, unless pre approved by the banquet manager all vendors must remove all their equipment and decorations at the end of the event.  Ashyana will not be held liable for damanged, or lost equipment.
